INSTRUCTOR NAME: Lucy Huckery
INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Lucy makes eco-printed and felted fiber art creations that are both beautiful and functional. Three years ago, she discovered eco printing (botanical contact printing) and began experimenting on paper using leaves, bark, flowers, and seeds she found in nature. When she tried bundling these same botanicals on fabric, a world of possibilities opened up, and she decided to tailor her craft to focus on fiber art. Today, Lucy transforms eco printed fabric and handmade felt into functional items such as trivets, coasters, placemats, purses, table runners, glasses cases, pin cushions, and scarves.
