Join award winning fiber artist Mimi Damrauer for a fun class learning to paint paper in Gelli Printing 101!  No experience necessary…everyone can do it!!!
Gelli printing is easier than painting! You get professional looking results for minimal effort!

Back by popular demand, here is another opportunity to get the basic concepts and tips of making Gelli Prints.  Mimi will take you through the individual steps to help you create your own Gelli prints (they are really cool).  Over the next few months, Mimi will be teaching classes at the Holland Center enabling you to use the prints you created  to make all  sorts of wonderful items.

You will be making quality prints with inexpensive materials, learning how to add texture and develop your images with rubber stamping and basic texture tools.  You will be able to take home original washi tape that you make with some of your beautiful papers!

Please bring $10 for materials to the class and be sure to wear an apron to or wear “art clothes”…. we get messy!

Mimi Damrauer is a local working artist, who has been teaching classes in the Valley for years. Her work has been featured in Crate and Barrel and is collected for private and corporate collections. Check out Mimi’s website (mimidesignsart.com) to see how she has taken her work to the next level!

Be sure to register for the advanced class too, Gelli Prints 201, offered on May 4th!

Class cost: $50
