Alexander Hamilton said the Supreme Court was the “least dangerous” branch of the federal government as it had no power of enforcement or of the purse.  What did he mean?  We will examine the Constitutional functioning of the Supreme Court, examining its controversial history, paying particular attention to the Courts role in elections over the nation’s 235 year history.
