Did you know there is a flute over 9 feet long?
Myths, history, and local stories will be covered in this captivating educational journey into the world of flutes. Join us as two members of the Central Arizona Flute Ensemble (CAFE) group delve into the rich history, diverse cultures, and enchanting melodies of the flute family. You will see and hear all five members of the silver flute family (including the gigantic contrabass flute) as well as flutes constructed from clay, plastic, bone, and seashell.
Whether you’re a music aficionado, a history enthusiast, or someone curious about the universal language of music, this presentation promises an immersive experience that transcends boundaries.
This will be an educational preview of our upcoming CAFE interactive concert, with all members of the ensemble, on November 4th. You won’t want to miss this either!
