Volunteer

We need YOU!

At the Holland Center, our programs are fueled by the enthusiasm, dedication, and talent of our volunteers! Whether you’re seeking an occasional opportunity to get involved or a regular volunteer commitment, we have options available to suit your interests and availability. Volunteering with the Holland Center offers the chance to directly interact with members of our community and help advance our mission of providing education, entertainment, and social connection.

Our volunteer opportunities include active roles in the arts, education, hospitality, administration, finance, customer service, public relations, and outdoor learning activities. Through our partner organizations, we serve people of all ages year-round, and volunteers with your interests and skills are integral to our mission. A few examples of our rewarding volunteer positions include:

  • Teachers for classes in our lifelong learning program
  • Docents for our classroom and field desert awareness programs
  • Greeters and customer service agents for our Community Center
  • Ushers for our performing arts theater program
  • Facilitators for educational and fundraising events
  • Administrative associates
  • Representatives for community outreach and public relations

We’re always looking for helping hands! To join our team of volunteers, simply call 480-488-1090 or complete the form below and someone will get in touch with you.

The Volunteer Experience

Our volunteers enrich our community in so many ways—and we love hearing how they have also benefited from their experiences supporting the Holland Center. Check out the following testimonials from some of our incredible volunteers:

Having a community centered building in our area is a gift to us all. The Holland Center is filled with caring people who work to support our neighborhood youth and their families. They offer programs that teach us a variety of things in classrooms, gather us for social events, and also support community health and growth through education.

Volunteering our time to the Holland Center allows us to focus on other people and area goals while it does wonders for our mental health.

We love the interaction with others, learning and continuing on our journey of personal growth in our retirement. We enjoy the teamwork and camaraderie and most of all we love to complete and check things off of ANY “to do” list!

There are few things that are more satisfying than knowing we are making a positive impact. We are fortunate to have the Holland Center in our locale and now more than ever we hope others will join us in strengthening her survival.

Andrea and Mark , Volunteers

Volunteering at the Holland Center provides renewed creativity, motivation, and vision that carries over into my personal and professional life. The best volunteer experiences benefit both the volunteer and the organization. The best organizations appreciate and thank their volunteers in meaningful and sincere ways, and make them part of their team, and the Holland Center provides that setting. My role as a volunteer at the Holland Center gives me a sense of pride, identity, and meaningful connections to staff, programs participants and other volunteers. There are many places in the community where I can share my time, talent and career skills but at the Holland Center I find meaning, purpose and direction in my life by helping others.
