
Using oil paints on canvas, you’ll learn tips to capture the sweet and gentle nature of wild burros through the layering of color and brush strokes for creating realistic fur. You will also learn about the materials, brush styles, paint mixing, palette layouts and composition and values.

Cynthia will guide you step-by-step through the process of creating a wonderful and captivating piece of art for your home or to give as a gift.
Cynthia believes in channeling her creative urges for producing unique artwork. As a juried artist with the Sonoran Art League, her paintings focus on landscapes, botanicals, and wildlife — which comes natural to her, having grown up on a small farm in Minnesota. She enjoys the many trails in Arizona and said “the natural world helps me connect with my subjects to find the right emotion I want to convey”. Her work exhibits at The Finer Arts Gallery in Cave Creek, Camelback Art Gallery, Dorleg Home Furnishings, and Tierra Del Lagarto and she’s also been featured in the March 2023 issue of “Images” magazine.
