Celebrating 250 years of America:  A four-part series that will examine the Making of America from the early colonial days through the American Revolution and the writing of the United States Constitution.  We will examine the sequential and consequential steps that led to the forming of what would become the United States of American, the freest and most influential nation to ever exist.

We will begin this four-part series with the early English colonies that dominated the Atlantic coast of North America, north of Florida.  While they comprised a very small portion of the British gross domestic product, for a century and a half they thrived financially.  But while the Americans that lead the Colonies considered themselves loyal British subjects, they liked the freedom and independence colonial separation accorded.  The French and Indian War changes everything.
