International award-winning photographer Tom Klare unveils the process he uses to create digital photographic composites — the technique of combining multiple photos to create a single surreal, dreamlike, conceptual, or even whimsical image (similar to collage or montage) using a DSLR camera and Photoshop for post-production. Tom will share his own portfolio of award-winning composite images, and will do a brief demonstration on how to begin creating your own.

INSTRUCTOR NAME: Tom Klare
Tom Klare has been a professional photographer, illustrator, designer, and educator for his entire career. His photography work has won many international awards with PX3 (Prix de la Photographie Paris, BIFA (Budapest International Foto Awards), IPA (International Photography Awards), and ND Awards (Neutral Density). Some of his clients have included Bank of America, National Geographic, The Nature Conservancy, and Arizona Highways. His work was also selected to be flown into space aboard a SpaceX Dragon capsule. He is a retired art professor emeritus, a frequent guest speaker at photographic organizations, and teaches various photographic workshops.
