Beginners welcome! The saguaro cactus’ blossom is the state wildflower of Arizona. Using oil paints, you will capture the intricate dance of light and shadow that plays upon each section of spines, and learn about the materials, brush styles, paint mixing, palette layouts, composition, and values — all from our beloved local and juried artist Cynthia Tadych-Eral.
Cynthia will guide you step-by-step through the process of revealing the delicate structures that often go unnoticed though the layering of color and brush strokes to create texture. Then take home a captivating piece of art for your home or to give as a gift.
