In four Tuesday morning workshops, instructor Larry Charles will show you how to “paint what you see” in watercolor. This workshop series will have a special emphasis on problem-solving.
Each class begins with a detailed step-by-step demonstration from the instructor. Then it’s your turn to create the same image as he provides individual mentoring to each participant. Expect to create at least one quick sketch and one finished watercolor painting every Tuesday.
Whether you are a beginner or an artist in search of greater realism, this workshop series will guide you through color mixing, brush techniques, shading and more.
Supply List: Each participant should bring the following art supplies: A 24-pan professional-quality watercolor kit (such as those made by Winsor & Newton, Cotman and Daniel Smith brands); three watercolor brushes (size one round, size six round, and a 1/2″ flat brush); and a pad of 11″ x 15″ watercolor paper (140 lb. cold press version).
