The Magic of Theatre: Using literacy and the arts to explore imagination. Supplement your child’s education with Actor’s Quest — a one-day workshop, presented by our Signature Program Desert Foothills Theater.
Mackenzie Moller, DFTs Children’s Director, will guide creativity, movement, and storytelling through interactive theatre games and acting exercises. Referencing age-appropriate books as the launchpad for that month’s topic, this specialized homeschool theatre arts and literacy program offers a holistic approach to education, providing students with a wide range of academic, social-emotional, and creative benefits.
Join us on November 12 and study acting through games, scene work, and character analysis inspired by Alice in Wonderland. This workshop will take students to Wonderland, exploring the themes of courage and adventure. It’s going to be a whole lot of FUN, too! At the end of our workshop day, kids will host a mini showcase performance for parents!
