Connected from the Start

“Connected from the Start” is a free, welcoming happy hour and orientation event created specifically for new residents of the Desert Foothills area. In a relaxed, social setting, attendees can meet neighbors, learn about the community, and begin building meaningful relationships right away. Drinks and appetizers will be served to create an easy, welcoming atmosphere for guests to mix, mingle, and make new connections.

Desert Foothills 101

“Desert Foothills 101” is a free class series designed to help residents of the Desert Foothills area truly get to know their new home. Sessions highlight local resources, desert safety, utilities & services, civic engagement, outdoor life, arts & culture, and meaningful ways to get involved—all while continuing to foster connection and community along the way.
