No matter where you are in Arizona, you’re only minutes from an amazing hiking trail—and there’s probably a locally owned eatery nearby if you know where to look. Naylor combines two great passions—hiking and hamburgers—to create the ultimate culinary adventure for the Grand Canyon State. Arizona Boots and Burgers: A Guide for Hungry Hikers is loaded with scenic beauty and scrumptious meals. A humor and travel writer, Roger highlights his favorite hikes in Monument Valley, the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Sedona, Prescott, the Phoenix area, Tucson and the southern deserts, the White Mountains, and Arizona’s West Coast. Each trail is paired with a nearby restaurant serving up delicious Sonoran hot dogs, barbecue, pizza, Indian tacos, cheese crisps, and, oh yeah, dozens of mouthwatering burgers—including vegetarian options at each location.
