Strengthen your skills, ask questions, strategize, and socialize in a fun, welcoming, no-money environment. Come solo or with a friend—there’s always a seat waiting for you!
- Please bring your 2026 NMJL card (BYOC). You’re welcome to use your own set or borrow one provided. 12 spots available for this Open Play.
- No lessons will be given. This is a chance to play, learn through experience, and enjoy the game together.
- We’ll use name tags to help everyone connect.

With a background in education, Katie makes Mahjong’s patterns and strategies easy to understand through approachable, engaging lessons. Her goal is to create a welcoming space where players of all experience levels can build confidence and enjoy the game through learning and social play. She is a current member of the Mahj Life Instructor Guild.
