Come celebrate with the Desert Awareness Committee and Kiwanis!

Through a generous grant from Carefree Kiwanis, DAC was able to replace the worn out playground at Desert Awareness Park in Cave Creek. The 30 year old playground  equipment needed to be replaced. The Desert Awareness Committee of the Holland Community Center worked with the Town and wrote a grant to Carefree Kiwanis, who donated $39,000 to the project.  The Holland Community Center then donated the installed structure to the Town of Cave Creek. The new playground is focused on providing a safe and fun recreational experience for 2 to 12 year olds.  Many families, grandparents, and visitors use this quiet park daily.

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new playground on Tuesday, November 15th at 9am.  Please join us in thanking Carefree Kiwanis and celebrate this great addition to our park
