The 1950s was a magical decade for popular music. There had never been a time when we were listening to such a wide variety of musical genres and it is doubtful that there will ever be again. This presentation features videos of stars ranging from Elvis Presley to Dean Martin to Pat Boone and more. Come and relive the 1950s through music and discussion.

Jeff Weiner is a freelance writer of articles about music and a docent at the Musical Instrument Museum. A longtime music lover, his journey began in New York’s Greenwich Village in the 1960s and at the Woodstock Festival. Jeff retired from IBM where he was awarded the title Distinguished Engineer. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member at several universities. This presentation is based upon one of his published music articles.
