Let’s learn the basics of simple texture techniques for decorating a gourd bowl. Teacher provides the gourd and all tools and embellishments for decorating your gourd. This includes the ink dyes, gloves, burrs and masks for the class. Along with pine needles for the rim, should you choose to further decorate your gourd. We will be doing free style patterns with lots of lines and dots in sections as shown in photo.
If you have your own Dremel or Carver please bring to class. When you sign up for class please indicate if you will be bringing a carver. If you don’t have one I will have several to share. Teacher supplies burrs if you don’t have them; if you do please bring them to class. We will be using round cutting balls different sizes #192 , 191 ,107 & 108. If you have the set of brad point Dremel drill bits we will be making holes around the rim to add pine needles to the rim. I will have drill bits for you to use. Burrs available for purchase if you wish to have them in your supplies.
