Discover a new method to expand your photography skills. Photographers and art enthusiasts will enjoy this presentation. Composite photography is the technique of combining multiple photos to create a single image. The process is similar to collage or montage. Art resulting from combining photos often appears surreal, dreamlike, conceptual, or even whimsical. Professional photographer Tom Klare, will discuss and share the creative processes and techniques he uses to create award winning digital photographic composites. Enjoy looking at work from his personal portfolio and a brief demonstration to begin creating composite images with your photographs.

INSTRUCTOR NAME: Tom Klare

Tom Klare has been a professional photographer, illustrator, designer and educator for his entire career. His photography work has won many international awards with PX3 (Prix de la Photographie Paris), BIFA (Budapest International Foto Awards), IPA (International Photography Awards), and ND Awards (Neutral Density). Some of his clients have included Bank of America, National Geographic, The Nature Conservancy, and Arizona Highways. His work was also selected to be flown into space aboard a SpaceX Dragon capsule. He is a retired art professor emeritus and frequent guest speaker at photographic organizations throughout Arizona. He also teaches various photographic workshops.
