It takes four Tuesday morning workshops to learn to paint. Our art instructor, Larry Charles, will teach you the basics… plus tricks professionals use to get life-like pictures.
The instructor starts with a narrated demonstration of each step for that day’s painting. Then you will create the same picture while he mentors you through the process. Along the way, you will learn color mixing, composition, edges, and techniques for more realism.
Unique to the Valley, the Holland Center will provide all the art supplies-brushes, pencils, acrylic paints, and paper, that you’ll need for this workshop in your registration fee.
Finally, a good excuse to stay here this summer!
