Create a one of a kind 10 x 14 mosaic tray in this hands-on class! You’ll be provided with ideas to get you started and various glass and ceramic pieces to create a truly unique design.
Learn the basics of mosaics and create a functioning piece of art as you see your design come to life! Whether you prefer a geometric pattern, colorful abstract design, or something inspired by nature, your finished tray will be completely your own.
No previous experience is necessary—beginners are welcome! All tools, and materials are provided including the trays. All of your beautiful designs will be placed before the end of class; freshly laid mosaics require 24 hours to cure before applying the grout. You will receive instruction before leaving class along with an instruction sheet and materials to complete your work of art at home.

Kimberly is a kiln-formed glass artist based in Phoenix whose appreciation of glass art blossomed during a visit to Murano, Italy, over a decade ago. Now a retired teacher, she loves blending her love of art and education by offering hands-on classes in fused glass techniques. Whether crafting decorative wall art, whimsical nightlights, or functional dishes, Kimberly embraces the versatility of kiln formed glass as her medium of expression. Her work has been exhibited at venues like The Tubac Center of the Arts, displayed at local farmer’s markets, and is available for purchase at Lula’s Arts, Sweets & More, where she is happy to be part of the vibrant, supportive community of artists and customers.
