INSTRUCTOR NAME: Kelly ClaysI am Kelly Clays and I volunteer at the Holland Center because I believe in fostering strong community relationships. In my children’s elementary classrooms, I volunteered to teach Writing Workshop. This allowed me to share the joy of writing while encouraging creativity in the minds of young learners. Now my kids are currently following their young-adult journey away from home. I have time to share my passion for writing and poetry with adults in my hometown of Cave Creek. The Holland Center has welcomed me to explore this new adventure. The Arts and sharing conversation is an avenue that connects people in developing new affiliations and learning about one’s self. I am excited to continue Journal Jam and start Poetry Hour in this new year, I invite you to join me.
