In four Tuesday morning workshops sessions, instructor Larry Charles shares his professional secrets and tips for creating more realistic watercolors. But you don’t need to be a professional to take the class. Beginners are welcome!
Charles begins each session with a step-by-step demonstration of techniques and tips to make a painting look realistic. Then he will guide you through the same watercolor as you put these techniques to work.
Topics will include texture effects, clothing tips, skin tones, water reflections, lighting secrets, and realistic hands and eyes. Expect to work on at least two finished watercolor techniques per class.

INSTRUCTOR NAME: Larry Charles
Larry has been teaching art at The Holland Center for many years. His professional work is displayed at several touring museum exhibitions, and his commissioned work appears frequently in national magazines and books featuring the top designer homes in New York City. Larry was the worldwide creative director for the largest agency on Madison Avenue for 14 years, and has served as president of the Scottsdale Artists’ School. He frequently lectures and writes articles for international art magazines.
