Join us as Dr. Jenny Hall, astronomy professor from Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC), presents the science and beauty of the stars. Then take a short walk across the parking lot to the PVCC stargazing patio and experience the stars firsthand with astronomer Kevin LeGore and the team from Focus Astronomy. Here you will be able to view the night sky through the half-dome telescope as well as professional-grade telescopes for a breathtaking stargazing session.
This free community event, part of a collaboration with Desert Foothills Land Trust’s Foothills Speaker Series, welcomes everyone—from seasoned astronomy enthusiasts to curious beginners. Come connect with your neighbors, learn something new, and be inspired by the beauty of the desert sky.
