Rob Kanyur is a seasoned mortgage professional with nearly 30 years of experience, helping thousands of clients achieve homeownership since 1999. His success is rooted in honesty, transparency, and a focus on truly listening to clients so he can deliver clear, personalized mortgage solutions.
Rob’s mission is to educate clients, present all available options, and make the loan process smooth and stress-free. As Senior Vice President of the Reverse Mortgage Division at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, he is recognized as one of the nation’s top Retirement Mortgage Specialists. Since becoming Reverse Certified in 2015, he has guided more than 400 clients through the reverse mortgage process.
He is active in leading industry organizations such as the FPA, NAIFA, and NAHREP, and serves as a certified continuing education instructor with Raise the Bar Real Estate School, teaching real estate agents and financial planners about using housing wealth in retirement. Rob also hosts the podcast Retire Right with Reverse Rob, where he breaks down myths about reverse mortgages.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys time with his wife of 32+ years, their five children, and their two yellow labs. He’s an outdoor enthusiast who loves mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and traveling.
