Love the ocean? Come make a restful piece of art depicting a wave that swells but never crashes. Using frit (ground glass) of various sizes a picture of a wave will emerge to grace your wall.

All materials are provided by the instructor. Participants should wear closed toed shoes.

INSTRUCTOR BIO

Kathy Nelson spent most of her life on the West Coast. She enjoys working with students and has developed multiple classes to help others appreciate the world of glass. She especially like the durability of Egyptian class, and it amazes her that something so fragile could exist for millennia. Fused glass is her current focus, as the play of light remains a fascination.
