Hi, My name is Cindy and I love making art! I have been an artist my whole life. Always learning new methods to create art. I found the art of felting in 2019 and fell in love with the wonderful soft textures, the amazing diversity of this medium and of course the vibrant beautiful colors and fun embellishments. I now call myself a fiber artist. I don’t remember as a child having the opportunity to work with fiber, so I encourage everyone, children and adults to give it a try. It just might speak to you as it does to me.
As a fiber artist I am learning about the many different breeds of sheep and the various animals that provide fiber that can be felted, spun and woven. I enjoy the art of needle felting and wet felting. I make art yarns by spinning fiber blends on a spinning wheel. I have a floor loom and hand looms so that I can make abstract or very detailed patterned pieces. For me making art is just playing!
