Youth students will be introduced to beginning basic sewing skills using a sewing machine as they each make their own fun and festive Halloween Treat Bag. Students will learn about sewing machines and how to thread the machine, fill a bobbin, and sew straight lines as well as following follow shapes as they sew together their own reusable fabric bag.

Join in for this free session and become a weather scientist for the day where you will discover what makes our atmosphere so exciting! Students will learn how clouds form, why storms happen, and how meteorologists predict the weather. Then students will participate in a fun, hands-on cloud-in-a-container experiment and create a tornado model to explore air movement and pressure. |
