About the Artist

Having lived in New Mexico, Chicago, and Arizona, Gail’s work represents each of these environments. She first started with large, vivid watercolor paintings, usually portraying the dramatic landscape of New Mexico. She abstracted what she saw and created works with intense colors. Gail soon became interested in oil painting and painting on a larger scale. Her favorite size was 54″ x 54″. Gail has exhibited with the Rainbow Arts and Dartmouth Street Gallery in New Mexico as well as at the Sugar Row Gallery in Mineral Springs, WI.
