Teens ages 14–18 are invited to join the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Cadet Program — a unique opportunity to learn about law enforcement, build leadership skills, and serve the community. Weekly Tuesday sessions provide hands-on training and real-world insight into public safety.
The Cadet Program is a community-based initiative that connects youth with real experiences in law enforcement and public service. The program offers an inside look at the duties and values that guide today’s law enforcement professionals.
Cadets meet weekly on Tuesday afternoons at The Holland Center for specialized instruction, interactive activities, and opportunities to volunteer alongside MCSO personnel. There’s no set start date — participants can join at any time and immediately begin learning and contributing.
Throughout the program, Cadets gain practical knowledge and develop essential life skills such as teamwork, accountability, leadership, and ethics. Whether participants are considering a career in law enforcement or simply want to make a positive difference in their community, the MCSO Cadet Program provides a rewarding path for growth, service, and personal development.
