About the Exhibit
Pamela, Diane, and Margit all share a deep commitment to creativity and personal expression in their artistic work. Each artist draws inspiration from the world around them – whether through photography, experimentation with materials, or the patterns and landscapes of everyday life – and transforms those influences into something imaginative and meaningful. Rather than simply reproducing what they see, all three use art to interpret their experiences in more abstract or expressive ways. In this sense, they are connected by their desire to explore deeper ideas and emotions through creative expression.
About the Artists
Pamela Fingerhut
Pamela Fingerhut is a digital artist who digitally manipulates her photographs to bring out the visual complexity and psychological depth in each of her images.
This process is the result of a lifetime in fine arts and deep reflection on the sometimes “Unreal” nature of the world.
Her work is shown nationally and internationally. Most recently her work has been shown at the Jerusalem Biennale in Israel, and in the 8th Biennial of Fine Art Photography in Barcelona. In the US, her work was exhibited at the International Center of Photography Education Center in New York City, the Umbrella Arts Gallery in New Your City, and at various exhibits in Arizona.
Diane J. Huff
“I once read somewhere that most cultures have a word in their vocabulary which defines that event or activity – when Time does not exist. Creativity leads us into the Now where past regrets and future worries are not permitted. Time becomes meaningless in the face of Creativity.” – Fred Babb
When I read this quote, it put into words something I had always experienced with my art. It gave me great affirmation to know that this was something all artists, and really anyo9ne who becomes wholly involved in what they are creating, hope to feel. So, when I work, I go to the place that has no Time.

Margit Kagerer
A Native of Germany, fiber artist Margit Kager was introduced to the world of quilting and fiber art when she and her husband relocated to the United States. As a retired math teacher, her interest in geometry led her to admire the patterns found in traditional quilts. Right from the beginning she created her own contemporary designs with geometric patterns.
When the couple moved to Arizona, Margit was attracted by the beauty of the desert. She ‘Painted’ the dramatic Arizona scenery with fabric.
Inspiration can come from many sources and working with different fabrics gives her creative freedom, allowing her to transfer what she sees into a picture or an abstract design.
