About the Exhibit

This exhibit embodies Beth’s love affair with the desert, painted in her bold and vibrant style. It is a tribute to the diversity of Arizona’s landscape in all its wild color and forms. From cactus flower closeups to expansive sunsets and desert landscapes, it is a joyful collection of paintings, 40 years in the making.

About the Artist: Beth Zink

Beth Zink has been called “the quintessential Arizona artist.”

For decades, she’s “Painted Arizona”in her bold, recognizable style. In her vibrant florals, landscapes, and sunsets, Beth uses imaginative color, and great attention to detail in her powerful compositions. Her work “brings a smile to your face.”

40 years ago, Beth and Jon Zink moved to Scottsdale. In 2007, Jon had a beautiful Studio built for Beth on their desert garden property in Cave Creek. There, Beth paints, teaches, and welcomes clients. A natural teacher, Beth shares her talent, and joy of painting, in highly acclaimed workshops, and weekly classes throughout the year. She is an academically trained artist, with a BA in Art from Bethany College. Beth exhibits at the Celebration of Fine Art in Scottsdale, and has been a Host Studio at Hidden in the Hills for 20 years. Her work has been featured in
Phoenix Home & Garden, So Scottsdale, Southwest Art, Images AZMagazine, and many more.

Beth is a juried member of WAOW and the Sonoran Arts League; voted “Best Artist” in Phoenix Home & Garden Readers’ Choice Awards, and featured artist at Mayo Clinic, and Honor Health, Scottsdale, and “Cowgirl Up,” at the
Sigler Western Museum in Wickenburg.

Recent Public Art installations include, Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Art Museum, and the City of Fountain Hills, Fountain Park. She is a past member the Board of Directors of the Sonoran Arts League.
