Youth ages 14-18 are invited to attend three (3) introductory meetings for free to see if the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Cadet Program is right for them. This community-based policing program is designed to educate and engage young men and women in law enforcement functions, whether they decide to enter the field or not. As a Cadet, young adults have the opportunity to assist MCSO as volunteers and receive specialized law enforcement training, attend weekly meetings, and volunteer to perform important community services. Along the way, they learn teamwork, responsibility, accountability, leadership, ethics, and other fundamental skills that enable youth to be successful in life.

For more information, please visit the MCSO Cadet Program site HERE.

INTRODUCTORY MEETINGS: December 2, 9, 16 | 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. No RSVP required.
HOW TO JOIN: The journey starts by attending the three (3) meetings in November to see if the program is a good fit (no registration required for the 3 introductory meetings). After the third meeting, interested applicants will receive instructions on how to join the program.
