You deserve to wake up every day excited to be greeted by a space that looks and feels like “you.” We forget that we are not separate from our spaces, that we share a reciprocal relationship with our homes.  Too often our homes become simply containers for our possessions.  Feng Shui practice allows you continually bring into alignment the elements in your home needed for you to thrive, and works with its inherent energy to grow a supportive space that matches your purpose and desires. This class will illuminate the psychology connected to space design and how it has long lasting effects on our belief system.  Special attention will be paid to attachment theory and why we might keep adding excess to our spaces.

Feng Shui energy permeates more than just our homes. Practicing Feng Shui starts with recognizing the natural environment surrounding our homes.  In this talk we will carefully examine the rugged Yang, yet meandering landscape of the Cave Creek and Sonoran desert area, where the presence of strong mountain energy and earth element enhances the local area.   We will discuss the importance of those mountains and of flowing water, which guides prosperity and energy flow and how this can support you in your home and/or business. Incorporating fire element energy with local wildlife as a model will also be touched on. Through discussion, we will draw a comparison between the local ecosystem’s structure and how to mirror its rhythm with Feng Shui 5-element theory.  We will touch on the places in our homes that might hold grief or loss and learn how to honor the energy.

Participants will learn to use a bagua energy map to enhance each of the 9 areas of their homes and will learn to use Feng Shui tools to guide the energy of their own spaces.  They will leave with the beginning knowledge and history of Feng Shui and Yin Yang theory and will be inspired to implement energetic changes that will allow their homes to thrive.  A one-to-one home consultation will be available to students at a discounted cost.

Important: Supplies that student must bring:
1) A floor plan of their home.  It can be a sketch drawing and doesn’t have to be perfect.  A simple sketch is fine.

2) Something to take notes with.  We will be writing on our energy maps.

Handouts provided.
