Come along and join us on a tour of all the wild, edible plants at our Desert Awareness Park. You will receive plenty of tips on plant identification, how to harvest, and prepare for eating. Enjoy delicious desert bites and nibbles prepared for all to sample.
Hosted by our signature program, the Desert Awareness Committee (DAC), teaching about the desert since 1974! A group of passionate volunteers committed to educating about the fragile nature of the Sonoran Desert Ecosystem, its plants and wildlife and the land that supports them.
