CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Create 2 fused glass plant stakes in this fun class that is suitable for all levels of experience. Each student is given two 12in clear glass pre-cuts to make any design you wish using a smorgasbord of supplies. Choices include dots, stringers, vitrigraph, frit and murrini. The plant stakes will be contour-fired in a kiln and be available for pickup within two weeks. Children, 14 years and older, are welcome to attend with an adult to supervise. If both child and adult want to take class, you must purchase two tickets.

INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Kimberly Ferm is a kiln-formed glass artist based in Phoenix, Arizona. Her appreciation of glass as art began with a visit to Murano while visiting Italy. She started working with glass eight years ago and appreciates the diversity of projects that can be created by fusing glass. Now a retired teacher, she enjoys fusing two of her favorite things by teaching others about glass.
