What could be more unique for the upcoming Holiday Season, than an ornament made from a gourd?  Darlene is offering a class in making Gourd Ornaments where you will paint or dye a southwest design on a gourd, or you can do a snowman or angel ornament.  If you have a wood burner you may use that in class (at an outdoor table). Otherwise, pens will be supplied to create designs.  You will complete it by adding a hook and finish to your ornaments.

Having lived in the Southwest United States for over 35 years, Darlene has long enjoyed experimenting with a wide range of desert materials in her work shop.  From gourds to desert clay, She has found ways to turn these materials into beautiful and even whimsical canvases and she has enjoyed ever part of it.
