The power of the pen is often mightier than the sword.  Journalism, or using the broader term the Media, has been a communications tool that has been both the builder of trust and alliances, and a destroyer of cultures and nations.  We will examine the history of Journalism in America and how the Media has changed over the last 250 years, evolving into the communications “free-for-all” we have today.  We will highlight how The Wall Street Journal has largely maintained the unique ability to preserve independence and the historic spirit of Journalism.
