$85.00
Using elements from nature, learn the basics on how to clean and cut a gourd. You will learn to make a bowl or vase using hand, tools, and power tools. If you have your own gourd tools it’s to your advantage to bring them for your use. Even though instructor provides gourd cutting , these supplies will be used by multiple people. After your gourd is cleaned and designed with a neck around your bowl or vase, you will learn to dye your gourd, with color of your choosing. We will make a rim using a drill to create the holes. Afterwards, get creative attaching a number of different botanicals to the rim. Finally, you will paint inside of gourd to seal and apply finish to the outside. Enjoy taking your lovely gourd home to put on your shelf, or gift it to a friend.
