Learn to capture the desert agave’s intricate dance of light and shadow that plays upon each leaf and thorn. We will use oil paints to bring out the beauty of our agaves in Arizona. Learn tips for revealing the delicate structures that often go unnoticed, layering of color, and brush strokes for creating texture. INSTRUCTOR NAME: Cynthia Eral
Cynthia believes in channeling her creative urges for producing unique artwork. As a juried artist with the Sonoran Art League, her paintings focus on landscapes, botanicals, and wildlife — which comes natural to her, having grown up on a small farm in Minnesota. She enjoys the many trails in Arizona and said “the natural world helps me connect with my subjects to find the right emotion I want to convey”. Her work exhibits at The Finer Arts Gallery in Cave Creek, Camelback Art Gallery, Dorleg Home Furnishings, and Tierra Del Lagarto and she’s also been featured in “Images” magazine March 2023.
