Do you already know a little Spanish and want to practice and learn more? This engaging course is designed just for you with lively conversations, interactive activities, music, and games. You’ll have the chance to practice everyday vocabulary, phrases, and expressions that will empower you to communicate confidently with native Spanish speakers, whether you’re at home or traveling abroad. Includes four (4) classroom sessions plus one-on-one Zoom sessions.
In addition to the dynamic classroom experience, individual support will be provided to each student through access to a 30-minute Zoom session each week where you can ask questions, practice speaking, and get feedback on your progress. This individual attention allows you to focus on specific areas where you want to improve.
Additional follow-on sessions will be offered in June and August for those that are looking to continue to build confidence and fluency in Spanish.

PREREQUISITES: Some basic / beginner knowledge of Spanish and/or have attended a previous Spanish class at The Holland Center

Yanette Tift has over 23 years of national and international language experience from translating and interpreting in the mining & engineering industry in Chile, to diving deep into the educational field in the United States at the secondary and higher education levels. Living and working abroad (Chile, Brazil, and Australia) has equipped Yanette with cultural sensitivity and knowledge for helping others where there is a language need.
