Event Series Event Series: Jim Sherbert Lecture Series

The Mustang is the only true American horse, yet it is actually a “feral” rather than “wild” animal, as they are descended from the those introduced to the Americas by the Spanish. Come join us to learn about the history of the American Mustang and how this amazingly adaptable animal completely changed the culture of the Plains and Western Native Americans within just a few generations.

Jim Sherbert’s 30-year career spans a wide range of consumer and commercial manufacturing categories with both domestic and international responsibilities. He has a passion for history and the broad scope of events and people who make America unique among nations. At The Holland Center, Jim is a former board chair, serves as development leader of the Desert Foothills Leadership Academy, and leads the Americana Lecture Series.
