Many believe the US Constitution is the single most important document ever conceived. Others believe it is outdated and that a second Constitutional Convention should be employed to adjust the Constitution’s core concepts for current times. We will explore the crafting of the Constitution, the debates between delegates, the compromise solutions and the “selling” of the final document to the state legislatures. We will also examine the Constitution’s influence upon American life in the 21st century.
