We will examine the formation of the Court and the scope of its power and influence. We will examine why the United States is a Common Law nation and how this has allowed the Court to interpret the Constitution differently over the nation’s history, even reversing prior Court decisions more than 300 times. We will capture the personalities and key decisions that govern America’s legal system.
