In this 3-session class, The Holland Center and Cave Creek Unified School District's (CCUSD) Education & Community Services (ECS) partner to introduce students to sewing and quilting skills using a sewing machine. After application of skills, students will walk away with a beautiful, quilted piece of art that can hang on a door or wall inside the home. Open to all students; not required to reside in CCUSD.

We will examine the history of taxation and how America has funded its spectacular growth. We will delve into the theories behind various tax strategies and the impact and consequences of each. We will attempt a look into the future that includes the examination of debt and how taxes will play a role in assuring America’s long-term solvency. |
