Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this fun, interactive workshop offers practical drawing guidance you can apply immediately. Instructor Larry Charles believes anyone can learn to draw realistically and will guide participants step-by-step through creating a lifelike pencil sketch. In this one-hour sampler class, you’ll learn foundational techniques, sharpen core skills, and gain confidence in the drawing process. Materials will be provided.

Larry offers a variety of monthly 4-session art classes covering a multitude of mediums including Drawing, Watercolor, Acrylics, and Oil—all designed to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for beginners and experienced artists.

INSTRUCTOR: Larry Charles has been teaching art at The Holland Center for many years. His professional work is displayed at several touring museum exhibitions, and his commissioned work appears frequently in national magazines and books featuring the top designer homes in New York City. Larry was the worldwide creative director for the largest agency on Madison Avenue for 14 years, and has served as president of the Scottsdale Artists’ School. He frequently lectures and writes articles for international art magazines.
