Join in on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesday each month for American Mah Jongg Open Play. Bring your friends, make new friends, and enjoy an afternoon of American Mah Jongg fun.  All levels are welcome to join, with a special invitiation to those that have taken our Learn American Mah Jongg and Beginner Guided Open Play classes.

Improve your brain health and your social circles – whether you already have a regular group and are looking to play more –  or you’re not yet in a regular group.

These open play sessions are informal play—no instructor or group leader present. These are social games – no money play allowed.

• FORMAT: Casual, self-directed play
• INSTRUCTION METHOD: None
• AGES: 18+
• EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Beginner & Intermediate
• PREREQUISITES: Basic knowledge of American Mah Jongg; willingness to be patient with those still learning
• WHAT TO BRING: Your MNJL 2026 card and your Mah Jongg set (The Holland Center does not provide any MJ game sets)
• FEE AMOUNT: $5 cash per person – day of play (participation fee); Registration requested below.
