Get out of the heat and treat your body to some gentle movement. This is your chance to find out more about Tai Chi and try out a few moves. You’ll be amazed at how fun and easy it is!

Whether you’ve never tried Tai Chi or are looking to deepen your practice, this session offers a great way to integrate physical activity with mental focus.

Tai Chi helps improve your focus on:

  • Body balance—both external and internal—for helping to maintain a strong, stable posture while keeping movements smooth and controlled.
  • Deep breathing for rejuvenating muscles, bringing in fresh oxygen, and stimulating the brain to stay sharp relaxed.

Sessions start at 10:30 AM. RSVP appreciated below so we can plan accordingly.

INSTRUCTOR: Peggi has been instructing in the Guang Ping Yang style of Tai Chi since 2013. She has taught beginning and intermediate classes at Paradise Valley Community College and through the Tempe Parks and Recreation Program. She especially enjoys introducing beginning Tai Chi students to the many benefits gained from the regular practice of slow and gentle whole-body movement.
