Back by popular demand, this unique six-hour workshop (2 3-hour sessions) teaches you how to gold-leaf artwork, stationery, wood and metal! This class will take place on two days, Dec. 6 and Dec. 13 from 9-12.

Instructor Larry Charles will show you how to apply gold-leafing like a pro.  From ultra-thin pinstripes to large gold accents on paintings and jewelry boxes, the artisan crafts you create will now have an extra bit of pizzazz.

Learn how to apply a base coat of adhesive size; place delicate thin sheets of gold; and seal your creations with a waterproof coating. Holland Center will provide all the art supplies and gold-leaf materials as part of your workshop fee. Expect to create at least six gilded demo samples to take home.
