As an author, he has written 17 books including four new releases in 2023: “Earth Angels: The Short Lives and Controversial Deaths of Three R & B Pioneers;” “The Wanderers: Killer Teens, Rebel Teens, Gang Teens and the Evolution of the Last Great Greaser Feature;” “What a Difference a Day Makes: Women Who Conquered 1950s Music;” and “All I Want Is Loving You: Popular Female Singers of the 1950s.” With the surprising release of so many books in 2023, Steve Bergsman has become a popular lecturer, giving talks from Louisiana to Arizona.
