Steve Bergsman has contributed to more than 100 magazines, newspapers, and wire services over the past four decades. As an author, he has written 17 books including four new releases in 2023: “Earth Angels: The Short Lives and Controversial Deaths of Three R & B Pioneers;” “The Wanderers: Killer Teens, Rebel Teens, Gang Teens and the Evolution of the Last Great Greaser Feature;” “What a Difference a Day Makes: Women Who Conquered 1950s Music;” and “All I Want Is Loving You: Popular Female Singers of the 1950s.” With the surprising release of so many books in 2023, Steve Bergsman has become a popular lecturer, giving talks from Louisiana to Arizona. His most popular discussions are about the tunes of the 1950s by the women songbirds of that decade (WITH MUSIC). And, about the history of teen gangs in popular culture from “The Wild One” with Marlon Brando to the B-movies of the 1950s, to the plays “West Side Story” and “Grease,” to “Happy Days” to “The Wanderers” (WITH THE WANDERERS FILM).
