Want an early start on Holiday Cheer? Have fun creating a holiday themed plate. Students will create an 8 x 8” plate with a holiday theme of their choice. Multiple options are available using glass cut outs, frit (ground glass), glass noodles and stringers. These plates will be a joyful way to celebrate the holiday session, or a great hostess gift for that important party.
Come and enjoy a chance to work with fused glass. Plates will be ready for pick up in approximately one week.
Kathy Nelson spent most of her life on the West Coast. She enjoys working with students and has developed multiple classes to help others appreciate the world of glass. She especially like the durability of Egyptian class, and it amazes her that something so fragile could exist for millennia. Fused glass is her current focus, as the play of light remains a fascination.
